Carnival Warm Up with Small Green Shoots

Camden based Small Green Shoots bring performance, new talent, music, a pop-up barber with Chop Chop, stalls and exhibitions to form an inspiring pre-carnival celebration.  

Rooted in creativity, built upon culture, Small Green Shoots is a small but mighty National Portfolio Organisation, dedicated to increasing career opportunities within the music and creative business for underrepresented young adults. 

Established in 2009, the organisation’s achievements over the past 15 years includes placing over 320 talented young people in jobs within the sector, including our current Managing Director, Makeda McMillan, who was one of Small Green Shoots first ever alumni. Along with this, we have secured over £1.7 million of early-stage funding for artists such as Jorja Smith, Hamzaa, The Compozers, plus more.
