IT’S GINUARY!
THE SPIRIT OF THE MARKET
SHARE
If you’re not part of the dry-January crowd, here’s our pick of the best places to pick up a gin-themed tipple or two at the Market.
A huge part of the Market’s history, during the nineteenth century, gin was stored in a huge 20 acre warehouse and distillery, stretching all the way from Camden Lock to the Roundhouse. If that’s not something to celebrate, we don’t know what is, so celebrate Ginuary this January here at Camden Market.
Travel from Britain to Mexico with this cocktail with a twist – Beefeater gin, roasted chilli, agave, lime, sage, bergamot liqueur, pink pepper and Earl Grey tea.
HONEST BURGERS – Botanic Garden
Make like Spring and feel floral with this simple, sweet cocktail – Ford’s Gin, apple juice, elderflower and lime.
KERB COUNTER – Gin and tonic
Sometimes, you can’t go wrong with just the classics and nothing says Friday like a cheeky gin and tonic! Plus, it’s perfect for washing down food from London’s greatest street food line up, KERB Camden!
Want to carry on the party at home? Did you know that Camden Market had it’s very own independent gin distillery Half Hitch? Well now you do and you can use it to create some delicious recipes, as suggested by Half Hitch owner Mark here.
