Summer in Camden is a melting pot of music, performances and more. We’ll kick off on 1st July with Wimbledon on the big screen, live on the lawn at our summer garden.

We’ll continue through July and August with a programme of DJs curated by Jazzie B, including headliners David Rodigan and Shy One, weekly family days, our vibrant Bollywood Mela, a dazzling tribute to Amy Winehouse and rising stars filling the North Yard with music. It’s all free, open to all and you’re invited!

THE LINE UP: JULY
18th July | Back2Life Café with Jerry Dammers
Jazzy B presents Back2Life Café with Jerry Dammers, original songwriter of The Specials and a pivotal figure of ska revival. Jerry will be digging into his huge vinyl collection for a revival set including everything from Jamaican ska, reggae, American rhythm and blues, funk and soul.
20th July | Celebrating Amy - Music Performance
A live concert celebrating the fantastic Amy Winehouse. The mesmerising jazz vocalist Lucy Randell and her band will be bringing the unforgettable sound of Amy to life.
23rd July | Kids Summer Fun - You Too Can Tutu
The Place presents 'You Too Can Tutu' with Gandini Juggling and ‘The Album: Skool edition’ by SAY, a joyous dance show. You Too Can Tutu is Gandini Juggling’s first-ever children’s show, blending the grace of ballet with the playful precision of juggling. The second piece is 'The Album: Skool Edition' by SAY, which is a joyous show for children and families with audience interaction. There will also be lego workshops, face painting and more.
25th July | Back2Life Café with David Rodigan
Jazzy B presents Back2Life Café with Rodigan, International DJ Selector of reggae and dancehall music, radio broadcaster on BBC 1Xtra and originally Kiss FM, Capital Radio, Radio London to name a few. A leading figure in the UK’s reggae music scene with unbeatable collection of vinyl records.
27th July | The Big Sing
As seen on Britain's Got Talent, The Big Sing is a community choir for all age groups that perform uplifting gospel, pop and soul music. Catch them in Hawley Wharf and join the musical fun!
July 30th | Kids Summer Rave
DJ Cheeky Meeky returns to Hawley Wharf with a two hour party of dancing, parachute games, and super fun activities for 2-10 year olds. Carers and parents can join in too! Other activities: Face painting, Lego workshop. Arts and Crafts run by Nadia Rich: party props and headgear.

1st August | Back2Life Café with Shy One
Jazzy B presents Back2Life Café with Shy One. NTS DJ Shy One lives and breathes the eclecticism and diversity of her DJ sets. Representing London to the fullest, her sound includes unique dance music, always keeping things soulful.
6th August | Kids Summer Fun - Bubbles Inc
Hawley Wharf will be filled with billions of bubbles by the mesmerising Bubble Wizard, as well as arts and crafts, face painting and a Lego workshop. Our eccentric Bubble Wizard will create a magical atmosphere with giant bubbles and the biggest and most dramatic bubble effects.
8th August | Back2Life Café with Jazzie B
As part of Back2Life Café series, we present Jazzy B himself. World renowned founder of music collective Soul II Soul and the curator of the Back2Life Café music series, Jazzy will be giving us a taste of his iconic sound in Camden Market.
9-10th August | Bollywood Mela
Join us for Camden Market’s vibrant Bollywood Mela, celebrating South Asian Heritage Month with a weekend of colour, culture, and community. Enjoy traditional and contemporary dance, live music, family crafts, authentic cuisine, giant walkabout puppets, henna and face painting, and much more. Don't miss this joyful two day family occasion!
13th August | Kids Summer Fun - Sew & Stick
Sew, stick and create with shells and seaside inspiration at this week's family fun day with the Camden Market events team. You can also enjoy face painting and a Lego workshop!
15th August | Back2Life Café with Tony Monson & Chris Baxter
Jazzy B presents Back2Life Café with Tony Monson (Solar Radio) and Chris Baxter! An original pirate radio creative with a wide variety of music styles – expect jazz and soul classics with everything in between.
20th August | Kids Summer Fun - See Through Theatre
Join the See Through inclusive theatre collective for their Mad Hatter’s Beach CarnivALL parade. Join the puppet craft and mask making workshop with samba music and the finale parade at 4pm.
21st August | Carnival Warm Up
Camden based Small Green Shoots bring performance, new talent, music, a pop-up barber with Chop Chop, stalls, exhibition, an inspiring pre-carnival celebration. Rooted in creativity, built upon culture, Small Green Shoots is a small but mighty National Portfolio Organisation, dedicated to increasing career opportunities within the music and creative business for underrepresented young adults.
