Ease your way into 2017 with a playlist that’s as chilled and diverse as Camden
Fondue, soup, hot chocolate. They’re all things that are casual, comforting and help us through the winter months. Well how about a playlist that mirrors your favourite feel-good food? Luckily for you Noah Priddle, one of the London Sound Academy DJs has done just that.
Headed up by international DJ Buster Bennett, the London Sound Academy is an acclaimed school of electronic music, that has a shining alumni of talent, including AlunaGeorge and DJs from radio stations such as Radio One, Rinse FM and Capital FM. Providing ‘real-life’ experience such as actual gigs and industry platforms for their students is why the Academy is the most popular and revered in London.
The mix named ‘MondoMix’, after the festival of the same name is a smooth mix of soul, afrobeat, light hip hop and dub, that’ll soothe all of those New Year’s Eve hangovers and dull the pain of heading back to work after Christmas, easing you gently into 2017. Artists range from internationally acclaimed names such as Stevie Wonder to newer talents, such as The Skints.
