OUR SECOND MIX IN THE SERIES FEATURES THE SOUND OF SUBCULTURE, PUT TOGHETHER BY MODFATHER CLOTHING.

Music is a huge part of life at Modfather Clothing. The family business is owned by father & son, Mario & Daniel Warner. Meaning that the sounds you hear on entering the store span the decades & cover multiple musical genres. The one theme that runs throughout the playlist is the effect & influence these tunes have had on British subcultures. Be it mod staples like Green Onions, early Ska, or an 80’s Soul classic with a subtle nod to Camden Town. We describe ourselves as the British heritage lifestyle outfitters & the playlist reflects that:

Booker T & the M.G.’s – Green Onions

Paul Weller – Above the Clouds

Stranger Cole – Bang a Rang

Ocean Colour Scene – The Day We Caught The Train

The Spencer Davis Group – I’m a Man

The Kingsmen – Louie Louie

Prince Buster – Cincinati Kid

William Bell – Happy

Soul to Soul – Back to Life

The Beatles – Tomorrow Never Knows

Don’t forget that tunes like this, and more are played every Saturday at our Vintage Market, courtesy of Boogaloo Radio. Don’t forget to check it out here.
