Give a clothbound copy of A Christmas Carol, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland or Great Expectations – because it’s wholesome (and easy to wrap).

Carefully created by the founder Ako, this little shop – tucked way on the upper walkway of Camden Lock Place – is a corner of zen, stocked full of contemporary ceramics, leather accessories and delicate jewellery. Walk in with £20, leave with something pretty.

Call us biased, but once you’ve tried Half Hitch – flavoured with Malawian black tea and Calabrian bergamot – you can’t go back to normal gin. It comes in a beautiful bottle; a good looking and great tasting addition to any alcohol-lover’s cabinet.
