Camden Market will be brought to life with a Day of the Dead festival

In partnership with the Mexican Embassy, Mestizo and Aeroméxico, the Market will be transported to the heart of Mexico from October 31st but the real fiesta will begin on November 2nd.

To celebrate Day of the Dead, Aeroméxico is offering the change to win a 4-night stay at an all-inclusive hotel and round-trip flights with you and your friend to the Mexican Caribbean, Cancún. Cafe Chula // West Yard // 10am – 1am

As the actual Day of the Dead happens on the 2nd November, Cafe Chula will play host to a day full of food, live music, face painting and DJs until the early hours. Why not join one of their FREE tequila masterclasses?

Main Altar // Gabeto // All-day

To kick-off in true Mexican style, these traditional Altars will be created by the State of Oaxaca and pay homage to Franciso Toledo.

Art Installations // Unit 16, The Stables // All-day

Curated by Mexican artists, this gallery will showcase the best of contemporary art Mexico has to offer.

Floating Market // Camden Lock // 11am – 6pm

Next to Cafe Chula in the West Yard and inspired by the canal city Xochimilco, one of our longboats will be fully dressed in bright colours and flowers and will host a mini Mexican Market where they’ll be serving native Mexican delicacies.

Children’s Crafts // Camden Lock Place // 10am – 3pm

Inside Josiah Amari, they’ll be hosting hour-long workshops for your little ones to get crafty and into the Mexican spirit. Book your free ticket HERE!

Take a bite out of delicious and authentic Mexican food delights!

Mezcalería Speakeasy // Unit 88, North Yard // 11am – 6pm

Tequila isn’t the only alcohol Mexico make. Experience tastings of Mezcal surrounded by beautifully curated artwork and music to get you into the Mexican spirit. 

Gabeto // Stables Yard // 12pm – 2am

As well as hosting a Day of the Dead Fiesta Saturday night, Gabeto will host talks, workshops and film screenings:
