The Feminist Library: Down There
‘Down There’ meets the Vagina Museum: women’s health from the 1970s and 1980s to the realities of the 2020s.
Self-help, self-examination – such discoveries made the early days of the women’s health movement very exciting. Women together looked at our own bodies, sexualities and feelings, which demystified and challenged the prevailing medical approaches.
The Feminist Library and friends will lead an interactive discussion about key themes from the early days of the Women’s Liberation Movement and think about the connections with women working on women’s health issues today.
