Photographer Michael Putland has snapped every single iconic musician we can think of – and all while at the pinnacle of their careers. In 1973 he was asked to be the official photographer for the Rolling Stones European Tour which led to some of the most celebrated portraits of the group ever taken.

At this exhibition you’ll find shots of David Bowie decorating his home while wearing a catsuit, Bob Marley laughing with Mick Jagger and Peter Tosh backstage at the Palladium Theatre, and John Lennon looking loved-up with Yoko in the White Room where the infamous ‘Imagine’ video was shot.

Documenting the artists that changed popular music from the 1960s through to the current day, ‘Eye of a Generation’ reveals a rare and honest look at the most prominent faces of the 20th and 21st centuries.
