Camden Giving Week Kick-Off

Camden Market as well as some of our traders have signed up for the week to support the local community to make Camden fairer place for everyone. If you didn’t already know about Camden Giving, they connect people who live, work and play in Camden to end local inequality through providing support to locals who lead their own projects. Ranging anywhere from boxing clubs to resident newspapers and food banks to homeless shelters.

For Camden Giving Week’s second round, all proceeds are going towards the Future Changemakers fund. This programme works with the Camden youth and helps fund youth services and to give the younger generation agency in their future. Plus this year, Camden Giving Week coincides with Mental Health Awareness Week, as the Future Changemakers Fund seeks to provide funding for mental health projects for young people at risk of violence.

To top it all off, Camden Market will match all funds raised by our traders up to £250!

COLLECTIF | Stables Yard

The day before Camden Giving Week started, Collectif hosted a kick-off party with live music and hula hooping fun with 25% of all sales made from the day going towards the fund (you might also spot a couple Camden Giving collection tins in store).

PAMBAN | North Yard

A collection tin for Camden Giving will be located in the award-winning café, as well as a couple staff members joining the Tough Mudder to raise even more money!

CAMDEN WATCH COMPANY | North Yard and East Yard

Long-time supporter of Camden Giving, Camden Watch created an exclusive limited edition Camden Giving unisex watch range. Only 250 pieces are available in black or green colours featuring a tattoo-inspired anatomical heart with ALL profits going to Camden Giving. Find out more about the design here.

SWEYN FORKBEARD | Stables Yard and Upper Market Hall

Sweyn Forkbeard created a limited edition Camden Giving beard oil with 50% of the profits going into the fund. Fund fact: Camden Giving chose the scent!

CAMDEN COFFEE | Stables Yard and Camden Lock Place

For every drink you purchase this week 5% will go back to Camden Giving. Guess we’ll be getting frappuccinos and iced lattes for the glorious weather!

CAMDEN SUPERNOVA | Upper Market Hall

Quirky and weird but in the best way: for every t-shirt sale, £1 will be donated to Camden Giving.

TEA SHIRT | Upper Market Hall
