Oli Baba’s
Halloumi fries
Two words: halloumi fries. Oli Baba caused a foodie riot when they launched their deep-fried cheese strips in 2015 and since they’ve continued to impress hungry punters everywhere. Meat-free Levantine cuisine is Oli’s focus – the founders were converted to the culinary delights of the Middle East during a six-month long trip to the region and their crowd-drawing street food van is the legacy of that experience. The menu boasts authentic fattoush (flatbread salad) and toasted pita sandwiches. Note: the bread is handmade every morning, the traditional Israeli way, naturally. Oli Baba’s is also the best place to sample Schug, a Middle Eastern salsa verde you’ll want to pour on everything.
