ABOUT JOYGUN NEHAR: Joygun Nehar is a British Bangladeshi Community Textile Designer raised in Camden. Joygun’s work celebrates her experiences of living between the borders of two cultures and her work reflects and takes memories from her childhood. Joygun specialises in woven textiles, graduating from Central Saint Martins as a mature student.
From there on she started working with other educational institutions and created community workshops. Through her work she has always been drawn to making and playing with unusual materials and keeping craftsmanship, upcycling at the core of what she does.
