GLUTEN-FREE DESSERTS FROM OUR FAVOURITE PECKHAM-BASED BAKERS

We begged, we pleaded, we even tried disguising ourselves as brownie inspectors but all to no avail: South East Cakery wouldn’t reveal the secrets of their delicious, gluten free Nutella brownie. They did however give us some tips on how to enjoy it best. Rejoice, coeliacs (and brownie fans)!

Gluten Free Nutella Brownie Mess
Whip up some fresh double cream and place in a bowl. Chop your brownie into small, bitesize bits and spoon over the cream. Add your favourite fresh berries (we advise blueberries, raspberries and strawberries) and then drizzle with salted caramel sauce.

Gluten Free Nutella Brownie ‘Bab
Cut your brownie bar into bitesize chunks and soak wooden skewers in a bowl of water. Push large, gluten free marshmallows and the brownie chunks onto the skewers and toast with a cook’s blowtorch, cooker flame or on a BBQ. Once sufficiently warm and gooey, add fresh berries.

Alternatively, if you are feeling THAT lazy, you could just go and meet our baker-baes in KERB Camden Market and get them to whip up some delicious warmed brownies and ice cream.
